Pool Approvals/Approval Process

Before you begin construction on your pool, you’ll first need to get approval from your local council. In New South Wales, every new pool project requires either a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) or a Development Application (DA).

Many residential pool projects are eligible for a CDC approval. As a fast-tracked approval option, getting a CDC is preferable over a DA because there’s less government oversight required.
